A destination for travelers and residents alike, Metroparks Toledo is host to the nation’s largest public treehouse village, an outdoor ice-skating/roller skating riverfront park, and one of the largest birding destination spots in the United States.

Toledo’s Science Center

Imagination Station Toledo is the forefront of innovation and exciting informal STEM-education. The Science Center provides bountiful resources for learning, fun, community space, and much more.

While debuting a the new KeyBank Discovery Theater, Imagination Station wanted to renew its social media presence. Peacock Social was brought in to implement online programming, further highlight and promote exhibits in the science center, encourage membership signups and further engage with members-only events, and bring more space rentals to the agency.

Peacock Social develops monthly campaigns and delivers monthly metric reports to monitor success and revamp messaging in according with customer preference. We consult on a wide array of social media advertising and organic messaging, video production, and online platform utilization.

A long standing tradition of the iconic cultural city of Toledo, Ohio is their standout Toledo Symphony Orchestra. A very traditional organization, started in 1943, their challenge was to maintain their high quality brand identity on social platforms and reach a higher number of young professionals. 

Peacock Social helped the Toledo Symphony Orchestra start new social media marketing initiatives including sponsored snapchat geofilters, promoted social media ad buys, niche market targeting, and audience aggregation to ensure our continued success month-to-month.

Launchpad incubation

At the University of Toledo, we have a history of boosting the underdog - and that's exactly what their Launchpad Incubation program does with their annual Pitch & Pour event.

Startup companies are featured in a business pitch competition, where a panel of judges, and the audience, grade the contestants. While hearing pitches, guests are encouraged to sample some local brews and enjoy the Launchpad Incubator's space. 

Through social promotion, we saw over 300 tickets sold for this event. We partnered with Right Half Media to match professional photography real-time with team and judge quotes, ensuring our online audience the opportunity to engage with, and relive this experience.

fighting hunger in a thoughtful way

Getting 80 people to sit down in the middle of street for dinner can be mighty tricky. From selling all the seats at the table, to getting logistical information out to guests, Food For Thought trusted us to ensure the event went smoothly. 

We started with a social media awareness campaign for the event, sponsoring geo-targeting promotions. Anticipatory posts were used to tease the audience and generate some organic interaction leading up to the event. During dinner, we partnered again with Right Half Media to live-tweet and post all their professional photography coverage of the event.

Now, Peacock Social and Team FFT work hand-in-hand on monthly social media campaigns and branding. Checkout their new look and maybe, just maybe, we'll get you to volunteer with us someday.

A big podcast about a little city

The Toledo Matters Podcast came to Peacock social with a simple goal; get more awareness for the bi-weekly podcast. Being heavily reliant on online & digital subscriptions, social media was crucial for Toledo Matters.

We ran some tests on their current listenership, and matched that with specific demographics to target on social media ad buys. Then, by studying audience interactions and engagement duration - we developed a unique post promotion strategy to maximize organic reach before leveraging paid media.

ZOOtoDO - Toledo Zoo

The Toledo Zoo's largest annual fundraiser, the big to-do at the Toledo Zoo, was held in June 2017. This event features some of the city's finest cuisine matched with its wildest party animals - and brings in a good portion of their annual fundraising goal.

We were brought in to assist with the strategy behind social media marketing and social media ads targeting behind this campaign. 

With just a few days left to the event, we sold out.

In 2017, more than ever, it was vitally important to carefully craft your personal brand on Social Media. Ms. Spang had a specific message - represent small business and take the money out of One Government Center and back into the neighborhoods it was supposed to be for.

Citizen's Campaign for Metroparks 

Since their inception in 1963, Metroparks Toledo has never seen a more successful Levy campaign. With over 4.7 million visitors per year to our Metroparks Toledo system, it was crucial that the 2017 levy campaign passed with flying colors.  

We were brought in to help with the Social Media campaign. Our role; define a voice for the Citizen's Campaign for Metroparks, and provide the public with adequate resources on where this funding goes and the benefit that Toledoans and the natural habitat that surrounds them sees from this Metroparks system. 

Through effective demographic and sociographic targeting, Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads were implemented to reach a wide range of voters. 

The levy passed with nearly 3/4 approval!
